Oh girls I need some help here, well at least point me in the right diection. My color variation arrived and I want to know what to smock first. A geometric using just one color? It is so beautiful, so very very beautiful. I got the pastel set, and I think you are all going to love this thread.

What a tough decision. I am anxious to see this thread. How about something solid or even white with lots of geometric smocking so the thread really shows?

I agree, then do some bullion roses as accents so you can judge the color change… does the color change fast enought to shade a small picture smocked leaf?

Oh yes Lainey I think picture smocking would be beautiful. As I looked again at the colores I have there is one that is the faintest shade of pink with white and yellow mixed in. Almost like a varigated rose. I am thinking bullion roses would be perfect using this. But any of them I am sure will make a beautiful flower.

Me again, I pulled out the greens to see if I could describe them better, they are not varigated they are true variations, so the variations of green go from yellow green to blue green and everything inbetween, there is a very light one in green and a darker one. The lighter one has more shades of yellow, to a very pale green. I am now tempted to also order the bright colors.
