Since craft shows are pretty well dead in our area, we’ve moved to do “home shows” or trunk shows…pretty much the same thing. We just bring our set up, and people can either buy straight off the rack, or place orders. We bring our catalogs of smocking plates and samples of fabric…We send out a postcard about a month in advance, then another 2 weeks prior and make reminder phone calls the week of.
