Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. You are all so sweet. Goosie, making bags isn’t hard at all. It is all straight line sewing pretty much. The only issue is that they can get bulky if you put in all the interfacing I do. I put fusible fleece on the outer fabric, then Decor Bond on top of that. Then I interface the complete lining too, all fusible. I have found the trick is to cut all seams off of the interfacing to reduce bulk. You can get the magnetic snaps and other metal goodies at Joanns for really low money. A bag of the magnetic snaps, 6 of them, is about a dollar fifty or so. They have a really nice selection of all the metal findings and handles. Another thing I have learned is I just don’t like cotton linings. I saw tons of those poly brocades in clearance at Joanns and think I will pick some up for linings next time I go in. Give it a try and if I can help in any way let me know. Bunny_________________
