there is just two pattern pieces and the waist band. 5 each of the pattern pieces, then you sew them together so you have 5 long pieces, attach them to each other (a little bit like setting in a sleeve, but not that much fullness to deal with), when you’re done, you add the waist band, put elastic through it, and “PRESTO” the cutest little skirt, and it ‘twirls’ beautifully!
