Hi, My name is Cathy & I’m new to this forum. My sweet friend Neiner introduced me to this site & I’m so glad she did. I live in the state of Mississippi. I love to sew & one of my passions is Heirloom. I have 2 grown sons, no grandchildren to date so I am working on a Grandmother’s Hope Chest. I sew boys or girls garments whichever strikes me at the time. I have so so much to learn but I love to take classes.I have enjoyed viewing all the beautiful garments made, the helpful tips are great. I have a Viking sewing machine that is so much smarter than me, a Singer that only does straight stitching (which was my high school graduation gift which I use for gathering, & a Babylock Imagin serger.

Welcome Cathy! I have lots of grands, but only the last few would wear the heirloom type garmets. We raised our children in Southern California (land of jeans & t-shirts), so I feel real lucky the last two are girls. You’ll love the gals here. So much to learn, and so many with the talent to teach. Welcome, Karen
