It’s a complete quilt, they put them on little cots so I was not too worried about thickness, otherwise I may have done it thicker or over a pre made vinyl mat. I did not sew on the blanket for 2 reasons, 1) Mattie has her own “blankie” I’m sure she’ll want to take and 2)the only rule on nap pads was no sleeping bags and I thought with the blanket attached it might be too much like one and I did not want to chance them saying no after I put in all of that work! Thanks for the compliments ladies, this was quite different from what I’m used to sewing. It was fun, so I may make a matching tote, but I don’t see any big quilting projects in the future. SOOO many little pieces!!! And I like instant gratification, if it can’t been done in a few days I get bored and set it aside (sometimes for years!!)_________________
