I am making my daughter a Mary De to wear for her birthday party on Saturday. I dont have enough fabric so I thought I could make it with an insert. Since I have never done this before can someone give me some instructions. I used 60′ wide fabric for my insertI have it blocked out and attached to the bodice. Can I just sew the skirt on to the insert or do I need “wings” on the insert? Please tell me I dont need the wings because I dont think I have enough fabric to make the wings.
