Now the Skirt Make 2 rows of gathering threads across the skirt front between the notches And both sides of the back

Now sew up your side seams…..french seam or serge (don’t catch that lining! )

Now some fun….

Gather up your skirt pieces and pin them to the outside bodice, right sides together, matching seams and notches (Again, don’t catch the lining) The instructions show you twisting and turning, folding the skirt through the neck but I just did it in sections…………underarm across front to underarm, check my work, then pin and sew underarm to center back, check my work, then pin and sew underarm to center back, check my work

Pin carefully and sew with the bodice side up so that you can follow your piping seam line! Watch those curves! And don’t forget to turn in one side of your placket!

I put my piping on by sewing on the piping seam line so that I can always follow it later (like this) makes piping easy! The little green music & bees Frannie I did like this before I got a piping foot! Goes on perfect every time, even in those curves!
