My sis in law just brought me 2 boxes of baby patterns, I bet there’s 50 of them!!! A lady at her church was getting rid of them. They are 1950’s to current, lots of smocked things, size babydoll to 7!! Talk about an early Christmas!!

ohhhhhhhhh I’m so jealous! That is really terrific. I really am happy for you. That is so neat! If you decide to use a pattern from the 50’s check the measurements, I think sizes have changed since then. In other words I think a size 6 in the 50’s is smaller than a size six now.

Oooo, I’m jealous. What a great surprise. When I get something like that I am just in heaven going thru and organizing and planning and basically fantasizing. Enjoy the fun of this windfall.

Oh lucky you. If you see anything really special or unique let us know. Maybe you can share a picture of some of them so we can all ooh and ah over them with you.

I’m going through these and just finding out how GREAT this is. There are at least 10 1940’s and then more 1950’s McCalls and all in excelent condition with all thier pieces, a few uncut.

Very cute stuff, one 1950’s McCalls looks just like cc mindy!!

I love the full skirts, they were short back in the ol days so remember to add length. Or! make cute bloomers

VERY short!! Mattie’s thin, so I’m usually making a size smaller and adding length anyway. Such beautiful hand work stuff from McCalls, little embroidered coats and dressed…even a gorgeous embroidered button-on pj pattern!
