I am semi-organized. I keep smocking plates in clear sleeves in a note book labeled as such. Sometimes I purchase the floss in colors called for in the plate, these are kept in the same sleeve with paper clips across the top in case I turn the note book upside down by accident (this has happened ONCE). I keep old magazines in notebooks too, by years. I use clear plastic shoe boxes for elastic, interfacing, trims, buttons by colors, etc. Now my fabric is different, I try to stack batiste together, winter colors, and the rest as neatly as I can….. forget measuring, I borrow little strips for other things, no time to mark a card that I took 1/8yd off. My cutting table serves many other projects so always a mess when I need it (that’s when things get put back where they belong)…….Would share a picture, but it is too bad right now to find the camera, I know it is in there someplace!
