Thanks so much, Nonie, for the link. I printed off a couple of the Sue Says columns for my notebook. Would love to try the lace cathedral windows on something. I really enjoyed her columns in SB and miss them. I always learned a lot from them.

bunny, the lace cathederal windows is very easy to do. I modified a button tab down the front of a bishop once using that. the seam ran in the middle of the tab and the buttonholes were between each window. The strip of fabric behind the button tab on the other side of the front was in a dark contrasting color so the lace in the windows would show up. This is one of the garments that I will not have a pic of when I finish my photo project. The gown (size 9 months) was donated to a silent auction and went for 95.00! I was totally shocked. OH btw, while gowns are nice things to donate to fund raisers, I’ve also donated smocking lessons that sell very well.
