Hi, I’ll try to explain it. First an avatar is the little picture under your username on the left of the post. My avatar is a smilie face, nonie’s is a bunny. You can upload avatars from your computer if you’d like. It has to be no more than 80×80 pixels and I think the size is about 7kb. Ok to answer the how to make a pic show up in a post you have to have a host, a place where you store your photos, it’s on another server seperate from your computer. Photobucket is a photo hosting site. So you can store your photos on their server. They will give you an url, an address to where your photo is stored. You use this address in a post between the [IMG][/IMG] tags. So in order to see an image you would do this in the post.
