Okay, ladies. I have a dgd due in May and I have a crazy idea to make a dedication dress (we are Baptists and don’t do christenings) out of my wedding dress. My dress was almost hippie looking, all ecru Mexian lace. I would like to use a panel of it down the front, or make a button on “apron” for the front and then make a collar for big sister Rylee Grace, age 3, since they didn’t have a dedication for her.

I need ideas for easy patterns. I’m not the heirloom seamstress a lot of you are and I don’t have scads of time on my hands. I’m hoping you will come up with some great ideas for me!!!
