How to use your pleater.

Prop the pleater on a book, so when you remove the bar, the needles do not fall out.

When re installing the bar, note that the right side of the bar has 16 full space rows and the left side of the bar has both full space and half spaces. Be sure the bar is lined up correctly when reinstalling the bar.

When you thread the needles, put a piece of white paper under the needles, it will help you see the eye of the needle and will make threading easier.

Roll your fabric on a dowel.

Begin pleating.

Occasionally remove fabric from needles, continue pleating until finished.

 

Final Step:

Leave threads long enough to tie off, remove from pleater.
